GulfSpan Open Deck Logistics is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed owner operators in Houston, Texas, and surrounding Gulf Coast communities.

We are looking for professional owner-operators who understand open-deck freight, proper load securement, customer service, and the responsibilities of running an independent trucking business.

Available opportunities may include regional, dedicated, and over-the-road flatbed freight originating in or moving through the Houston market. Depending on your equipment and qualifications, freight may include steel, pipe, building materials, machinery, oilfield equipment, lumber, coils, industrial products, and project cargo.

You choose the freight and operating areas that make sense for your business. No forced dispatch. No company trucks competing with owner-operators for available freight.

Houston Flatbed Owner-Operator Position Overview

Position: CDL-A Flatbed Owner Operator
Location: Houston, Texas

Flatbed Owner-Operator Pay Package

Qualified owner-operators may receive:

Actual revenue depends on freight rates, equipment, accepted loads, operating region, deadhead, market conditions, time on the road, and the owner-operator’s business decisions.

This is gross revenue paid to the truck before fuel, maintenance, taxes, insurance, trailer charges, permits, tolls, and other operating expenses.

No particular revenue amount is guaranteed.

$5,000 Owner-Operator Transition Bonus

Qualified flatbed owner-operators may be eligible for a transition bonus of up to $5,000, paid directly to the truck in scheduled installments.

Proposed bonus schedule:

$1,000 after completing the first qualifying load
$1,000 after 30 days of active service
$1,000 after 60 days of active service
$2,000 after 90 days of active service

The owner-operator must remain active and in good standing to receive each installment. Complete bonus requirements will be provided in writing before onboarding.
